Now it is Christmas, lots of people are doing Christmas things. But some thing really fun to do for kids, is build your own slay!
All you need is a few cardboard boxes, string and tape and maybe some decoration to your preference.
7 Simple instructions to build one:
1. Get a rectangular card board box (as long as the users legs at least) and open up the top, whilst laying it so the longest bit is on the floor.
2. Fold 1/3 of the flap, which is from the side furthest from the box, upwards and make sure it stays up, you can make sure it stays up with tape.
3. Cut out 2 thin small rectangle bits and sick them to the top of the bit you folded (on the corners) to the corners of the top of the box.
4. Make a square base on the top of the box, where your sack will sit, and tape it on.
5. At the other end of the box attach one end of a long piece of string to one corner and the other end to the other corner, this will be your handle. If necessary, you can use a belt instead of string for more strength.
6. Put your feet inside the box and get somebody to pull you, and you have your own hand crafted slay!
7. Lastly, decorate your slay to your hearts desire or even use wrapping paper!
Hope you enjoyed it!
